HEAT MOLDING
Personalized fit for peak performance
How it works
At Fiitz, we prioritize delivering a cycling shoe that conforms precisely to your foot's unique shape. Our heat molding technology allows for a customized fit, enhancing comfort and performance.
Fiitz shoes incorporate a proprietary resin in the shoe that becomes pliable at relatively low temperatures. This design enables cyclists to adjust the shoe's fit by applying heat, allowing the material to mold to the contours of their feet.
Repeatable Customization
The heat molding process can be performed multiple times, ensuring that you can refine the fit as needed. This flexibility is particularly beneficial for accommodating minor foot irregularities or changes over time.

Step 1: Heat
Preheat a conventional oven to 70°C (160°F).
Place the Fiitz shoes on a tray and heat them for 8–10 minutes. This activates the thermoplastic material embedded in the shoe’s side panels, making them pliable without affecting the shoe’s structural integrity.

Step 2: Mold
Remove the shoes from the oven and immediately put them on.
While the material is still warm, tighten the dials and press gently on areas that need adjustment. The shoe will begin to conform to the natural contours of your foot.

Step 3: Set
Stay seated with your foot flat on the ground for 5–10 minutes until the shoes have fully cooled.
Once cooled, the shoe retains its new shape, providing a custom, performance-optimized fit.
